About the building

After being unoccupied for twelve years, the hunting lodge now accommodates holiday guests. The building principal needed four years to renovate the building steeped in history in keeping with the conservation of historical buildings and to meet the high living requirements in the process. The old fieldstones of the foundations for the ‘Gutskirche’ (estate church) were partially left visible on the façade, as traces of the 12th century.
Built in 1746 in Baroque style with half-timbered walls, the baroque hunting lodge was the residence of Rochus Friedrich Graf zu Lynar.
